About Nocturnal
Nocturnal is a tight knit group of people that love to raid and love to have fun. We keep raids organized and focused without giving it a militaristic feel.
We raid on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday at 10:30pm server time and use those nights as our “Progression” nights. Meaning things like 25m Icecrown Citadel, The Ruby Sanctum (coming soon), & Trial of the Grand Crusader. On our off nights we typically run 10m Icecrown Citadel, Trial of the Crusader, & the like.
Many of our officers and guild members have years of experience raiding in World of Warcraft ranging from Original 40m Naxxramas all the way through Icecrown Citadel. When we are raiding a progression mob we expect people to keep positive attitudes and be prepared more so than just a “farm” status raid. This is due to progression being a vital part of the guild saying active and keeping our people interested in the most World of Warcraft has to offer.
If you do plan on applying to join the ranks of Nocturnal please be aware we do check “DPS” reports, track attendance, and carefully monitor each other so that if one of us does slip up there is someone there to let us know where we went wrong. We will never criticize a player for their lack of knowledge, but expect our people to always strive to be the best players they can whether it comes from learning from others, reading class websites, or even participating in their classes’ theory crafting .
